Major League Baseball reportedly will not suspend Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig for an alleged domestic violence incident. The news came on the same day that MLB announced Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman will be suspended for 30 games for his own domestic violence allegations.
Puig was allegedly involved in a fight at a nightclub in Miami. Puig was reportedly arguing with his sister which eventually led to an altercation with a bouncer. Although the investigation is not yet complete, this is a good sign for the Dodgers. Puig only batted .255/.322/.436 with 11 home runs last season, but he can clearly be a game changer and will be expected to bounce back this season.
