LOS ANGELES >> The Dodgers’ dugout emptied onto the field. Austin Barnes was nearly beaten to home plate by his own team, a group that’s seen this script play out so many times before.
Barnes scored the Dodgers’ third and final run in the ninth inning, the finishing touch on a 5-4 come-from-behind victory over the Chicago White Sox.
Trailing 4-2 when the inning began, the Dodgers (85-34) used a one-out rally to sweep their 16th series of the season.
Pinch hitter Cody Bellinger singled against Gregory Infante, and scored on Logan Forsythe’s second double of the game.
