The two New York Yankees fans who grabbed Los Angeles Dodgers right fielder Mookie Betts during the World Series have been banned from Major League Baseball stadiums indefinitely, according to a report from the New York Post.
Austin Capobianco and John P. Hansen, who were kicked out of World Series Game 5 for their actions grabbing Betts, will now be unable to return to an MLB stadium for the foreseeable future.
MLB sent a letter to the fans which was obtained by the Post that read: “Your conduct posed a serious risk to the health and safety of the player and went far over the line of acceptable fan behavior.
