Yaisel Sierra gave the Quakes a great start in their victory, while the Drillers and Loons were also able to pull out wins.
Player of the day
After struggling mightily over the past few weeks, Sierra finally found his groove and fired five shutout innings of one-hit ball while striking out six. His season ERA is still 7.11, but at least for this game he had good stuff.
Triple-A Oklahoma City
The Dodgers and Express (Rangers) both scored a couple of runs in the first inning, then Round Rock tacked on one more in the third while OKC was held scoreless for the remainder of the game to come away with a 3 - 2 victory.
