Will Shohei Ohtani Undergo Surgery for Shoulder Injury? Dodgers Star Answers

Los Angeles Dodgers designated hitter Shohei Ohtani does not think he will need surgery in the offseason for a shoulder injury he sustained during Game 2 of the World Series against the New York Yankees. In the seventh inning of Game 2, Ohtani hurt his shoulder as he attempted to steal second base.

“I haven’t had further conversations about the future plan,” Ohtani said. “I think it’s something that’s going to happen after the season is over, do additional testing. But in terms of how I feel now, I don’t think so.”
