DENVER -- The Dodgers pre-game workout at Coors Field was cut short by a severe thunderstorm warning and Wednesday's game against the Colorado Rockies is not expected to start on time.
Thunder was rumbling as the Dodgers cleared the field and the grounds crew rolled the tarp out. It is raining now with less than 45 minutes to go before the scheduled start time.
UPDATE: A hailstorm passed through the area, pelting Coors Field for several minutes.
But the storm has passed and the rain has stopped. The grounds crew is removing the tarp and the rescheduled start time is 7:20 p.
