Tulsa took home the lone victory flag on Sunday. Oklahoma City and Rancho Cucamonga dropped their games while the Loons took a tough one-run extra-inning loss.
Walker Buehler pitched five innings for the first time in his professional career and that was enough for him to get his first win in the Texas League. Buehler was making his fourth appearance for the Drillers since his promotion and he gave up a run on two hits. Buehler struck out six and walked one.
The Dodgers scored two runs in the first inning and then saw the New Orleans Baby Cakes (Marlins) score many more and the Baby Cakes defeated the Dodgers 11-2.
