Dodgers 2015 first-round draft pick Walker Buehler pitched scoreless baseball into the seventh inning on Friday night in Vanderbilt's 7-1 win over TCU in Omaha, advancing to the College World Series finals.
Buehler, picked by the Dodgers at No. 24 overall, struck out eight in his 6u2154 innings and allowed only four hits and a walk, throwing 89 pitches, 60 for strikes. He left with runners at the corners and two out in the seventh, and both were stranded.
Vanderbilt (3-0) on Monday will play the winner of Saturday's elimination game between Virginia and Florida.
