Two more UCLA basketball players have declared for the NBA draft.
Junior Thomas Welsh and sophomore Aaron Holiday will test the waters, but will not hire agents, according to a UCLA spokesperson. They will have until May 24 to withdraw their names from the draft if they are to return to UCLA.
Neither Welsh nor Holiday is projected to be drafted, but subjecting themselves to NBA draft workouts could provide valuable feedback.
“Both Thomas and Aaron are doing their due diligence in getting feedback from the NBA to determine what’s in the best interest for their basketball futures,” UCLA coach Steve Alford said.
