Tyler Glasnow Thankful Dodgers Backed Him Up Following Poor Outing

After losing Friday’s night in San Francisco, the Los Angeles Dodgers hoped their ace would wash away the bad taste of the Giants’ walk-off victory.

Frustration mounted early and often when Tyler Glasnow took the mound on Saturday at Oracle Park in front of 39,663 fans. He was shelled for five runs and seven hits in an abbreviated three-inning start, forcing manager Dave Roberts to turn to his bullpen earlier than planned.

Eight pitchers combined to limit the Giants to one earned run over the final eight innings and the Dodgers beat the Giants 14-7 in 11 innings.
