Turner receives shot in arthritic right knee

PHOENIX -- Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner missed a second game after having a lubricating injection into his arthritic right knee as a preventative measure on Wednesday.

Turner, who had microfracture surgery on the knee after the 2015 season, will have an additional day of rest on Thursday, when the Dodgers have a scheduled day off, before returning to the lineup. With Turner out, the Dodgers were missing their entire projected starting infield for Wednesday's game with Milwaukee.

Shortstop Corey Seager remains sidelined with mid-back discomfort, which manager Dave Roberts insists is minor.
