CINCINNATI -- Don't panic, Dodgers fans, because Justin Turner is out of the starting lineup Tuesday. The surging third baseman is fine -- he just got a day off, and will play the rest of the way.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that although Turner had quite the workout over the weekend in Colorado, he should be healthy enough to start the remainder of the games down the stretch after not starting Tuesday night's contest at Great American Ball Park, with a day game on Wednesday.
"We've leaned on him quite a bit over the last couple of weeks and, knowing what we've got going forward, I think that it was smart today," said Roberts.
