MIAMI -- It was good timing that Justin Turner returned from the disabled list in Miami. The Dodgers' third baseman belted a bases-loaded double in the third inning that scored Yasiel Puig, Chris Taylor and Austin Barnes, who all walked, to give Los Angeles a 3-0 lead against Miami at Marlins Park.
The trio of RBIs marked the first of the season for Turner, who then scored on a double by Matt Kemp. Puig sent a pitch into the left-field stands in the following inning for his third homer of the season, pushing the score to 5-0
Turner had two hits on Wednesday and in 49 career games against the Marlins heading into Thursday's action, he was batting .
