19-year-old Dennis Santana picked up in relief for the Arizona Dodgers on Friday, but was extremely impressive as he struck out a career-high 11 over six frames. Santana also struck out eight in his previous outing, but prior to that the most strikeouts he had ever had in a game during his two-year career was five.

Joe Wieland and a trio of relievers combined on a two-hitter as the Dodgers topped the Aces (Dbacks) 2-1. Wieland allowed both hits and the only run during his six innings of work, striking out four and winning his 10th game of the season.
