LOS ANGELES -- Monday's 14-inning, 5 1/2-hour game took its toll on the Dodgers, the bullpen in particular.
In a case of fortunate timing, however, rosters exanded on Tuesday and the Dodgers were able to add four pitchers to the roster -- Mike Bolsinger, Ian Thomas, Joe Wieland and Joel Peralta (activated from the DL).
The Dodgers also moved to shore up a weakness by acquiring two right-handed hitting minor-league outfielders in trades before Monday's deadline for post-season eligibility.
