SAN FRANCISCO -- If Clayton Kershaw has often pitched like a superhero for the Dodgers, he is facing his Lex Luthor again Tuesday night with the Dodgers still hoping to clinch the NL West title.
Kershaw and Giants ace Madison Bumgarner have squared off six times in the past five years, three times this season. Kershaw won the first meeting, in April 2011 (the start of Bumgarner's first full season in the Giants' rotation). But the Giants have won each of the past five head-to-head meetings between the two best left-handers in the game.
