Trevor Oaks is the Dodgers’ piano man

With the tedium of six weeks of spring training, every now and then the morning meeting in the clubhouse features something different, a light-hearted departure from the daily norm.

On Tuesday, that was Alex Verdugo and Willie Calhoun showing on a world map where every player in Dodgers camp was from, plus information about everyone’s high school and the most famous alumnus from that school. But on Wednesday, pitcher Trevor Oaks was up.

The Dodgers’ seventh-round pick in 2014 out of Cal Baptist in Riverside led Dodgers minor leaguers with 151 innings pitched last year, and figures to be a big part of the Triple-A Oklahoma City rotation in 2017.
