The injury bug has hit the Dodgers a bit so far this spring. Of course, Gavin Lux is out for the season following knee surgery — that’s the big one. But other little nagging things have afflicted the boys in blue. On Monday this week, left-hander Justin Bruihl left an outing while dealing with back spasms and All-Star right-hander Tony Gonsolin rolled his ankle during morning drills at Camelback Ranch. He was diagnosed with a mid-left ankle sprain and is listed as day-to-day.
Gonsolin was set to start for the Dodgers against the Mariners on Wednesday but that start now goes to rookie Michael Grove, as the team announced.
