Oklahoma City Dodgers finally got to play baseball after two straight postponements. Tulsa has their turn to have a game called for bad weather. Rancho Cucamonga made a nice comeback only to lose in the ninth inning. And Great Lakes won going away against West Michigan.
Tony Gonsolin pitched five scoreless innings and struck out four in the first game of a doubleheader. He was credited with the win in the 7-inning combined shutout.
The Dodgers and Cubs played a pair of seven-inning games on Saturday and a total of six runs were scored. The Dodgers took the first game 3-0 and the Cubs won 2-1 affair in the second game.
