As the Dodger’s managerial search continues, the club recently announced that they have told the entire coaching staff that they are free to look for new jobs. You can interpret that anyway you want, but the basic jest I get from that is that the brain trust is probably going to clean house. Even pitching coach Rick Honeycutt may not be exempt from this. Mark is absolutely right about the coaching staff being too soft. I would not shed a single tear if we see a new coaching staff in 2016. Although to be fair I would keep Honeycutt as pitching coach, considering I think he’s done a good job with the staff over the decade he has held the position.
