With the olympics going on right now and the MLB season being in the home stretch, I realized something: Nothing brings people from all demographics together quite like sports, and in my opinion none more so than baseball. I always thought this but have now seen this first hand. About a month ago my girlfriend and I attended the Blue Jays vs. Diamondbacks game in Phoenix, Arizona and we were both amazed by how many Blue Jays fans there were. At least half, if not more, of the fans at this game were wearing blue. That’s not such a big deal when the Dodgers are in town but when it’s a team like the Jays who are from about as far away as you can get, it catches your attention.
