This final stretch is what the Dodger fan base has been waiting for all season, and so far.... all is well. All season, we've had to remind ourselves the season is long, more of a marathon than a sprint. After a strong start, the Dodgers were a .500 team for the better part of three months. However, it seems the team has hit stride, winning 13 of the last 16 games. The Dodgers currently have the largest division lead of the season. At this point, it is easy to start thinking about October. But before we get too involved with post season talk, the focus must be on winning the NL West for the third consecutive season (something no other Dodgers team has ever done).
