Teoscar Hernández has recorded a career-year for the Los Angeles Dodgers this season. From a career-high 33 home runs during the regular season, winning the Home Run Derby, making his second All-Star Game, and hitting a grand slam during the first round of the postseason, Hernández has put together a season to remember in his first year as a Dodger.
Hernández might have missed out on this success had he signed with another team during the offseason. Hernández opted to join the Dodgers on a one-year, $23 million contract in January, but there were other teams willing to sign Hernández on a multi-year deal.
