This early season losing streak has coincided with their East Coast trip, which has forced them to play in much colder conditions than they’re used to.
While the cold weather isn’t exactly an excuse for their poor play, outfielder Teoscar Hernández noted that it does make a difference.
“As a player it’s a little hard,” Hernández said of the cold weather after Tuesday’s 8-2 loss to the Washington Nationals.
