Stripling latest Dodgers pitcher felled by virus

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The Dodgers' clubhouse epidemic continued on Thursday, when Ross Stripling was scratched from his scheduled start against Cleveland and sent home before the morning workout at Camelback Ranch.

On Wednesday, manager Dave Roberts said "24 or 25 guys" had been sent home after exhibiting flu-like symptoms, including scheduled starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu. Wilmer Font started in his place and allowed one run in two innings against Seattle.
