Spring Training Recap: Yandy Diaz Collects 4 RBI, Indians Hit 5 Home Runs In Win Over Dodgers

Ike Davis’ return to playing first base for the Los Angeles Dodgers since returning from the 2017 World Baseball Classic led to a pair of errors, and the Cleveland Indians never trailed after taking a lead in the opening frame.

The Dodgers did manage to get to Trevor Bauer early, with Justin Turner cashing in on Chase Utley’s one-out double in the first inning by pulling an RBI single into left field. Davis’ failure to catch a pop-up in foul territory cost Brandon McCarthy, as Brandon Guyer wound up reaching on a base hit.

Davis then booted a Michael Brantley grounder, which left runners on first and second with nobody out.
