The Los Angeles Dodgers took advantage of Shohei Ohtani lacking command and they continued to pummel the L.A. Angels with a power display en route to a 10-2 win in the penultimate Freeway Series game.
Ohtani walked the bases loaded in the first inning and the Dodgers took a lead on a wild pitch. After Ohtani put Will Smith on to start the second inning, Chris Taylor connected for a two-run home run. Corey Seager then extended the lead with an opposite-field homer, his eighth of the spring.
Will Smith blew the game open in the third inning with a three-run homer on what wound up being the final pitch Ohtani threw.
