Bryce Martin-Grudzielanek, the son of former Los Angeles Dodger Mark Grudzielanek, has officially been drafted. Martin-Grudzielanek was the Toronto Blue Jays’ 20th-round pick in the 2024 MLB Draft.
The 6-foot-3 shortstop was drafted out of USC, where he spent his last two seasons of baseball after playing one year with UCLA. In his final season as a Trojan, Martin-Grudzielanek slashed .284/.369/.405 with 21 hits, 14 runs, one home run and 13 RBIs in 20 games. Martin-Grudzielanek attended Torrey Pines High School in San Diego.
His father, Mark, played 15 seasons of professional baseball, debuting in 1995 with the Montreal Expos.
