The Dodgers on Wednesday announced their minor league coaching staffs for the 2018 season, with six of the 33 positions filled by new hires in the organization.
With the exception of pitching coach Bill Simas, Oklahoma City will have a new coaching staff. Travis Barbary takes over as manager in his 25th year with the organization after spending the last 12 years as a catching coordinator.
Joining Barbary and Simas will be Scott Coolbaugh and Jeremy Rodriguez. Coolbaugh is new to the organization, coming over from Baltimore where he was the major league hitting coach for the last four years.
