The Dodgers’ need for consistent pitching has been apparent all season long. It has caused them to lose games that they should have won and has been the team’s biggest issue all year. Their pitching staff has seen a revolving door of players come in and out, giving the team a lot to manage. As the team enters the All-Star break, the extra rest should allow the pitchers to get ready for the stretch run. They are also hoping to get some of their injured players back at some point this season as well.
With the All-Star break here, it also means that the trade deadline is only a few short weeks away.
