PHOENIX -- Shortstop Corey Seager might miss the Freeway Series to work on his swing in Arizona, while reliever Pedro Baez will likely begin the season on the disabled list, along with Josh Ravin, leaving the Dodgers thin in right-handed relievers.
Seager said he is recovered from the strained oblique muscle that has sidelined him from Cactus League games since March 4. But he said his swing is rusty and, barring a rapid improvement, he'd prefer to get extra at-bats in Minor League games in Arizona than play in the Freeway Series games against the Angels on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
