LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers Hall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully said he will "definitely" return to the microphone for his final season in 2016, and is "chafing at the bit."
Scully, 87, missed the final week of the regular season and the National League Division Series with a condition that required a recommended medical procedure on Oct. 8.
Asked in an interview by Alanna Rizzo for SportsNet LA if he will be back, Scully said: "Yes. Oh, yeah, definitely. I'm looking forward to next year, maybe because it's my last year. I'm looking forward to it as much as my second year because I got by the first year and I was so thrilled that there was another one coming up, well that's how I feel about '16.
