LOS ANGELES — The Dodgers lost another player to the disabled list, on Tuesday placing outfielder and first baseman Scott Van Slyke on the 15-day DL with right wrist irritation, and recalled infielder Chris Taylor from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
This does not add to the Dodgers’ National League record of 26 players placed on the DL this season since Van Slyke already had a stint on the disabled list earlier in the year, missing 49 games in April and May with lower back irritation.
Van Slyke also dealt with right wrist inflammation late in 2015 and was ultimately left off the NLDS roster.
