Scott Van Slyke leaves game in 3rd inning with lower back tightness

On a day the Dodgers already lost one outfielder with Carl Crawford placed on the disabled list, they may have lost another one, too. Scott Van Slyke left Saturday afternoon's contest against the Giants in the third inning, with lower back tightness, per Alanna Rizzo of SportsNet LA.

Van Slyke left immediately after getting hit by a pitch on the elbow with the bases loaded to tie the game at 1-1, but that wasn't the injury. Van Slyke grimaced after swinging and missing through strike two earlier in the plate appearance, and also showed signs of pain on few plays in the outfield in the first two innings, bending over at the waist.
