The Dodgers picked up another series win with their 8-3 win over the Reds on Sunday. The Dodgers used a familiar formula to win today, great starting pitching and an offense powered by home runs.
Hyun-Jin Ryu had another scoreless start. He pitched seven innings and while he did give up five hits and a walk, he was never in any serious trouble and he retired the last eight hitters he faced in order.
Ryu now has a 31-inning scoreless inning streak. That streak is tied for tenth all-time in Dodger franchise history with Fernando Valenzuela and Bob Miller.
