PHOENIX -- Dodgers left-hander Hyun-Jin Ryu exited Wednesday night's game against the D-backs in the second inning with an apparent injury to his left leg.
With the Dodgers leading, 1-0, and one out in the bottom of the second, Ryu got ahead in the count to Deven Marrero, 0-2, when manager Dave Roberts came to the mound with a trainer. Ryu tried to stretch his left leg, but he appeared uncomfortable and was removed.
This is the first season since 2015 that Ryu has been healthy after shoulder and elbow operations.
