As Spring Training heads down the home stretch, the pitching still is very much a work in progress. If it were to end today, Tony Gonsolin and Dennis Santana would likely make the opening day roster. Jimmy Nelson would be on it as well. Santana is a case of a player maturing, adding some weight and strength, and just getting it. Many of us wondered why he was still on the roster… now we know. He has not been scored upon this spring.
Corey Knebel will be on the roster and insofar as the lefties in the bullpen, we know that Victor Gonzalez is on the team.
