On the morning after their World Series-clinching victory against the Tampa Bay Rays, the Los Angeles Dodgers saw seven players reach free agency.
Among those no longer under contract are Pedro Baez, Kiké Hernandez, Jake McGee, Joc Pederson, Justin Turner, Blake Treinen and Alex Wood. An eighth member was added to the group last week when the Dodgers declined their club option on Jimmy Nelson for the 2021 season.
Meanwhile, free agency has also gotten underway for 422 Minor League players. Of the contingent, 13 spent the past season in the Dodgers organization.
