LOS ANGELES — 1993 was the inaugural year for the Colorado Rockies and on August 12th of that year, the Rockies completed a four-game sweep of the Dodgers at Dodger Stadium.
24 years later, the Rockies came to Dodger Stadium and today, they completed their second four-game sweep at Dodger Stadium, winning 8-1 on a hot Sunday afternoon.
The Rockies did today what the Dodgers had been doing before all of this losing, get good pitching and hit home runs.
Rich Hill did have a solid start, pitching five innings and giving up two runs.
