LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers infielder Rob Segedin was honored on Thursday, named a 2016 Pacific Coast League All-Star for his strong performance this season for Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Segedin, acquired from the Yankees on Jan. 12, made a strong impression with a solid spring training as a non-roster invitee, and has kept it going all year with Oklahoma City, hitting .296/.374/.562 with 16 doubles, 13 home runs, seven triples, 45 RBI and 46 runs scored in 71 games.
He ranks fourth in the PCL in extra-base hits (36), fifth in total bases (146) and is tied for the league lead in triples.
