Rich Hill starts series finale against Mets

The Dodgers will go for a series sweep in today’s finale against the New York Mets. Chris Taylor, who got the go-ahead pinch-hit two-run double yesterday, is still not quite ready to return to the lineup.

Rich Hill makes his second start since returning from the disabled list. He pitched six scoreless innings at Wrigley Field last Tuesday. Jason Vargas had been scheduled to start for the Mets but he was placed on the 10-day disabled list this morning.

The Mets will have a bullpen game, something Dodger fans know all about, today as left-handed pitcher Jerry Blevins, who has pitched in 532 games, will be making his first career start.
