Rich Hill gets the start for the Dodgers on Friday night against the Angels in Anaheim, but unlike his Freeway Series rotation mates won’t fully be in tuneup mode in his final spring outing.
Hill pitched five innings in a minor league game on March 19, but last Saturday fell short of stretching out to six innings, pitching 3u2154 innings against the Athletics. So he’ll likely pitch four or five innings tonight instead of roughly three innings like the other Dodgers starters.
The A’s are one of Hill’s former major league teams, one of seven.
