LOS ANGELES — Dodgers pitcher Rich Hill was placed on the 10-day disabled list on Friday with a blister on the middle finger of his left hand, and the Dodgers recalled relief pitcher Josh Fields from Triple-A Oklahoma City to take his place on the active roster.
Hill allowed one run in five innings on Wednesday to beat the Padres, but there was no mention of any blisters postgame. The left-hander was plagued by blisters in 2016, and was limited to just six regular season starts for the Dodgers over the final two months of the season.
