Rich Hill did Rich Hill things on Sunday, impressing in his spring debut in the Dodgers’ 10-8 win over the Brewers at Maryvale Baseball Park.
Hill pitched two scoreless, hitless innings in his first start of spring training on Sunday, striking out a pair of hitters. He walked his first batter of the game, Jonathan Villar, but then promptly picked him off.
Seeing Hill on the mound again was a reminder of just how fun he is to watch in game action. Hill had the curveball working especially well, as Hernan Perez can attest based on this whiff in the second inning.
