LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers placed right-handed pitcher Walker Buehler on the 10-day disabled list with a right rib microfracture and recalled left-handed pitcher Caleb Ferguson from Triple-A Oklahoma City before Tuesday night's game against the Rangers.
Buehler, 23, has started nine games for Los Angeles this season, going 4-1 with a 2.63 ERA (15 ER/ 51 1/3 IP) and striking out 54 batters while issuing 11 walks.
Buehler sustained the injury when he was hit by a 108-mph line drive by Rockies shortstop Trevor Story on May 21, although he remained in that game.
