The Dodgers will be in the market for a new third-base coach this offseason, after the Rangers have reportedly tabbed Chris Woodward to become their new manager.
Woodward met with Texas on Thursday during a second round of interviews and apparently made a big impression. The 42-year-old spent the last three seasons with LA as their third-base coach after spending time with the Mariners as their infield coach.
Woodward spent 12 seasons in the majors, playing for the Blue Jays, Mets, Braves, Mariners and Red Sox.
