I can't believe the regular season is nearing a close. It was this time of year by best friends and I would buy entire boxes of the major baseball card brands at half off, if not even more. Josh and I would rip open those packs; chew the stale gum if they were Topps and trade for our favorite players.
We never used Beckett's or another price guide, it was simply friends being friends. So while Josh would want all the power hitters (except for Frank Thomas as I had dibs on his cards) my collection consisted of relief pitchers and managers.
