Red Sox @ Dodgers Aug. 6, 2016: At Least It’s Not A Knuckleball

After last night’s beating at the hands of the knuckleball, the Dodgers will move on and try their luck against Eduardo Rodriguez. The Red Sox acquired Rodriguez when they traded Andrew Miller away to the Orioles. He is a very promising left-handed pitcher with good raw stuff, but so far in 2016 he’s had trouble putting together the pieces, posting an ERA near six and a FIP that’s not much better in his first ten starts. Rodriguez is a fly ball pitcher and he also tends to get bitten by the longball.
