Former Los Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Caleb Ferguson has been traded from the New York Yankees to the Houston Astros. YES Network’s Jack Curry was first to report the news.
The Yankees will receive a minor leaguer and international pool money.
The lefty reliever was far from spectacular in his first season in New York, recording a 1-3 record with a 5.13 ERA, 41 strikeouts, and a 1.50 WHIP in 33.1 innings and 42 appearances. The former Dodger will now head to Houston, where he will look to find his groove.
As a Dodger, Ferguson was reliable and played some of his best baseball.
