The Los Angeles Dodgers sent two young infielders to the Chicago White Sox on Monday via a three-team trade with the St. Louis Cardinals. One of them will not play the rest of this season due to a leg injury.

James Fegan, who covers the Chicago White Sox for Sox Machine, reported Alexander Albertus has a stress reaction in his left tibia.

Albertus has been on the injured list since July 26. According to the White Sox, the injury is not considered serious and is expected to heal with rest. He is anticipating that he will be ready for Spring Training.
